Being a Type 1 diabetic or having a supportive role in a Type 1 diabetic’s life is a unique and complex set of elements to balance. Often it is only us Type 1 diabetics who ‘get it’.
This podcast came out of a desire to bring to the fore-font a real-word view on how other Type 1 diabetics manage living with this every day. The highs and the lows.
Thanks for your support in this project!
Hey, I’m Tim. I was diagnosed as a Type 1 diabetic in 1998… I can remember it like it was yesterday (all that peeing, wowzers). Over the years it’s been my mission to connect with and support other Type 1’s because often we can feel isolated, secretly worried and not 100% understood by others (I’m not a type 2 and yes I can eat sugar).
I’m a Entrepreneur and work on a few businesses with my wife at home. I purposely chose this path to 1) be with my family on my terms 2) travel and be location independent 3) work on stuff that makes a difference and 4) to reduce the stress because of my type 1 (my stressed project management days at Microsoft are a distant memory)
